My House Smells Like Dog

My house smells like dog. We have not one, but two dogs. So, what does ‘dog’ smell like, I wonder?

I sat down and got thinking. I guess, dog smells like:

🐾 Gratitude

🐾 Happiness

🐾 Loyalty

🐾 Fidelity

🐾 Protection

🐾 Companionship

🐾 Softness

🐾 Friendship, and

🐾 Pure, unwavering, unconditional love.

In spite of what they’ve gone through, no matter what has happened in to them in the past, they never hold a grudge.

If we leave them alone for an hour, they act like they haven’t seen us for days, so happy to see us.

Yes, my house smells like dog… and I am extremely grateful and blessed. I wouldn’t change it for anything. Certainly not for a house that smells… human.

This topic reminds me of a joke:

Which, between your significant other or your dog, loves you unconditionally?

Do the test. Lock both of them into the trunk of your car for a few hours. When you come back, which one will be thrilled to see you?…
