My house smells like dog. We have not one, but two dogs. So, what does ‘dog’ smell like, I wonder?
I sat down and got thinking. I guess, dog smells like:
🐾 Gratitude
🐾 Happiness
🐾 Loyalty
🐾 Fidelity
🐾 Protection
🐾 Companionship
🐾 Softness
🐾 Friendship, and
🐾 Pure, unwavering, unconditional love.
In spite of what they’ve gone through, no matter what has happened in to them in the past, they never hold a grudge.
If we leave them alone for an hour, they act like they haven’t seen us for days, so happy to see us.
Yes, my house smells like dog… and I am extremely grateful and blessed. I wouldn’t change it for anything. Certainly not for a house that smells… human.
