The Fly And The Bull

In the sprawling fields of a rural farm, where the sun cast its golden rays upon the rolling hills, a bull peacefully grazed. This magnificent creature, with muscles rippling beneath its sleek hide, seemed to command the attention of all the smaller creatures around.

One such creature, a playful fly, buzzed around the bull, finding amusement in its presence. It danced through the air, teasingly landing on the bull’s rear end. With a flick of its tail, the bull attempted to rid itself of the pesky insect, but the fly, nimble and quick, darted away just in time.

Undeterred by the bull’s failed attempt to shoo it away, the mischievous fly decided to up the ante. It fluttered over to the broad expanse of the bull’s back, confident in its ability to evade danger. Once again, the bull swung its tail in annoyance, but the fly continued its aerial acrobatics, dodging each swipe effortlessly.

Determined to assert its dominance over the relentless fly, the bull watched intently as the insect landed daringly on the tip of its nose. With a snort of frustration, the bull realized it needed to think outside the box. In a sudden moment of inspiration, it extended its tongue with lightning speed, aiming for the tiny target.

The fly, caught off guard by the unexpected maneuver, had no time to react. With a precise swipe, the bull’s tongue struck true, ending the game once and for all. The audacious fly was done.

Moral of the story:

When your tail falls short, trust in your tongue to get the job done!
