The Factory Worker

It was a regular day at the factory, with everyone working at their station. But there was this one guy who was standing on the factory floor, looking aimlessly.

The President of the factory noticed him and became rather annoyed seeing this employee wasting his time. So he goes to the guy and asks:

What is your monthly salary?

The guy casually replies:

$2,500 per month, Sir.

The President took out his wallet, gave him $5,000 and told him:

I pay people here to work and not waste time. This is your two-months salary. Not get out of here and never show your face again!

A bit later, the President asked other workers:

Who was that guy who was standing doing nothing earlier?

The workers replied:

The pizza delivery boy, Sir.

Moral of the story: Overreacting to situations rarely leads to the best decisions and in fact, it often leads to costly mistakes.
